Frequency & Duration of Appointments
I schedule day and evening appointments as available. Usually I meet with clients for 55 minutes. This may vary depending on the situation and number of people attending the appointment. Some couples and families require 1½-hour sessions. This is something we can negotiate based on your needs and resources.
Fees
My fee is $120 per 55-minute session.
Fees are not covered by the BC Medical Services Plan. If you have extended health coverage through your employer or other insurance, you should check to see if the cost of therapy is covered. If you have insurance, ask if they cover my professional designations: Registered Family Therapist, Registered Clinical Social Worker or Registered Clinical Counsellor. I’m happy to help you speak with your insurance company to see if they cover the costs of my services.
Funding for counselling/therapy may be available if:
- If you have filed a police report and have requested assistance through the Crime Victim Assistance Program.
- You have First Nations status or you or a parent/care provider attended a Residential School.
- You are a member of the military or a veteran.
- You or a family member is hard of hearing or deaf and eligible for services through the Deaf Well-being Program.

All information that you share with me is confidential with the following exceptions.
- If your or another’s safety is in danger
- Suspected abuse of a child
- If your file is subpoenaed to court*
